Don't use this company

Jan 10, 2016 by Anony

I sent my car with double line from Ontario to Newfoundland and was told 7 yo 10 days. After 10 days I called and they told me my car was still in Nova Scotia because the driver hadn't shown up. They told me the car would be shipped later in the week. I called on Thursday and was told the car was on the ferry and would be in on Friday so I should just wait for a call from the driver. No call. Monday I called and was assured that the car would be there that evening and the driver would call me. No call. Tuesday morning I called and called but could not get anyone to answer my calls for an hour. Finally the driver from the shipping company they used called me Tuesday afternoon and told me the car had been dropped off and I hadn't been contacted earlier because do u left line hadn't paid them.
My car was dropped off in a motel parking lot with the paper thrown on the front seat and the key left at the front desk.
Customer service is terrible at double line. I was always told they would call back and they never did. I constantly got the run around and no straight answer about where my car was.
The car was in perfect shape and had no damage but it took 3 weeks instead of 10 days to get it.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Big warning do not used this company

To whoever thinks to move a car DO NOT PICK THIS COMPANY.

Here is the story of my suffering with Double line Auto Transport.
As any ordinary person I picked up an auto moving company to move my car from Fredericton to Edmonton. Googled, placed a request on a web site and few options came out , Doubleline Auto transport was one of them. Due to bad luck and the nature of my work I was so busy to google any reviews about it and that taught me hard lesson.
I spoke to a secretary called Janice, who was very reassuring about the dates and requested to pay the amount quoted upfront.. When I preferred not to do the bargaining started... I end up paying 200CAD " to secure the booking date".

I called them few days ahead of time to confirm the pickup date... To fool me, the one called Jermaine sent me an e.mail assuring me about the date and stated that pickup could be earlier than planned hahahahahahaha...

Horrible Service - horrible company.
DO NOT USE
I was told it would take 7-10 days to ship my vehicle. 6 weeks later it showed up at the destination. Jermaine Sinclair avoided my phone calls and e-mails and refused to answer or update me about my car. I was hung up on repeatedly when trying to get an update on my car.
The whole experience was stressful and horrible - Stay away from this company!
