Toyota C-HR 2017

Toyota C-HR 2017

At the beginning of last year Toyota launched its C-HR concept followed by an updated version in September and now its time for the 2017 version, which was officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

Some of the first official images of the C-HR 2017 show that the Japanese firm made this as cutting edge as possible without limiting space, practicality and usability thanks to its TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture), this architecture has a gasoline-electric hybrid propulsion system, making it the first of its kind.

In terms of power, this car generates 114 hp with its turbocharged 1.2-liter engine connected to a six-speed gearbox or an automatic transmission. However,in certain markets, some models have a 2.0-liter CVT (Continuously variable transmission) where different gears are nearly impossible to be felt.

On its launch, this model will be joining a list of subcompact crossovers including the Fiat 500X, Jeep Renegade, Mazda CX-3, Nissan Juke, Honda HR-V and Chevrolet Trax that will be available worldwide starting 2017.
